ERL is the UK's leading independent Leisure Routes organiser, having been organising routes and rallies for discerning Automobile Clubs and Groups throughout Europe for over fifteen years. 

The ethos of ERL is to provide style, quality and value – through some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe, and between unique, often ‘off the beaten track’, locations – whether hotels, restaurants or places to visit. Routes are planned well in advance to ensure that owners are able to complete each day with a leisurely drive that will neither tax the vehicle (whether vintage, classic or modern) or the driver (and passengers). Rarely does a day include more than 200 miles driving – most days are from 100 to 150 miles – less for pre-war cars.

ERL organise vintage and classic car Tours from the UK to all of Europe and the USA.  Cars range in age from 1910 to totally new, most are from 1930 to 1970. Tours are usually between 30 and 50 cars for between 6 and 14 nights. 

Our clients own cars of world famous marques, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lagonda, as well as all of the old historic makes, Alvis, MG, Riley, Bugatti, Corvette, Morgan etc. For many years we have run Tours for The Aston Martin Owners Club, the biggest being 137 Aston Martins to Monte-Carlo and on to Gstaad, Switzerland, in Millennium year

Hotels are from 3 star to 5 star grand luxe – we use Relais & Chateaux, Leading Hotels of the World, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Sheraton Luxury Collection, Chateau & Hotels de France and many others. We have twice taken over The Palace Hotel at Gstaad in its entirety

Besides the hotel accommodation we organise special events and dinners for each group, such as  
-  Dinner up the Schilthorn in Switzerland in James Bond style
-  Troglodyte cave restaurant Dinner in the Loire
-  Masked Ball in Venice  
Plus chartered historic trains, classic buses, racing circuits, city town halls, castles, chateaux and ships – all privately chartered for ERL’s groups

Our main current clients are The Duke of Edinburgh Award Offices, various motoring clubs, motoring magazines and the UK Guild of Motoring Writers - and we also design and run Tours for many private individuals and parties

The routes chosen are always country by-ways – Auto routes are only included if there is no alternative, and then only for the minimum distance. However, ERL is sensitive to the fact that some groups include very elderly and fragile vehicles, so all roads chosen are appropriate for the group.
