Classic cars touring France

Bring your classic cars and join us for The Grand Tour via Albi and Carcasonne to the Mediterranean and Pyrenees. Visit Albi’s medieval town, the wonderful Cathedral – the only one built of brick and not stone and the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, containing the largest collection of his work, housed in the Bishop’s Palace.

City of Carcasonne

Stay inside the walls in the ancient City of Carcasonne for 2 nights in a beautiful 5 star and enjoy this walled & fortified City in the peace of the evenings and early mornings.

Spend 4 nights in Collioure The 20-mile Côte Vermeille is the last stretch of the Rousillon coast before the Spanish border. Here, in the bottom right-hand corner of France, the Pyrenees tail off dramatically into the sea, and the rugged hillsides behind are covered with steeply angled vineyards. It is a gorgeous and much overlooked (at least by the British) part of the French south. Of the four little salmon-pink towns along the Vermillion Coast, the indisputable star is Collioure, a sensationally picturesque ensemble of old town, beaches, waterfront castle and church, all set around a compact bay. The resort’s good looks have attracted artists since the early 1900s, when Matisse and Derain started painting here, and the streets are full of galleries.

Take the famous narrow gauge Yellow Train up the Pyrenees to 5226ft and the border with Spain Drive the spectacular coastal road into Spain alongside the blue Mediterranean Motor the fabulous back roads of France through Tarn, Lot, Dordogne, Vienne, Charente and the Aude. Mileages of 5 hours driving a day or less.
