A visit to the beautiful, but little travelled Scottish borders, to enjoy spectacular countryside, staying for 4 and then 3 nights in two magnificent 4 star hotels. From coast to coast enjoy this historic area.
Hadrian’s Wall, Dryburgh Abbey, Berwick on Tweed, Beamish Museum, and even Gretna Green await.
18th and 19th at The Crown, Wetherall, near Carlisle; 20th to 23rd at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel, Dryburgh, some 50 miles south of Edinburgh and 24th to 26th at Matfen Hall, Matfen near Newcastle.

Join us for a week’s escape from all that TV coverage and enjoy south west Wales. We’ll take you up hill and down valley, past the odd sheep and stopping at the old hostelries in remote villages. Four nights in one hotel make it a gentle week. Super accommodation and excellent food in individual award winning hotels together with quiet routes will make the week a memorable one.

TO THE ARDECHE AND THE SOURCE OF THE LOIRE

Some of the very best scenery in France is to be found the Auvergne and Ardeche Regions. Join us as we explore the route of France’s biggest river, The Loire, from Orleans to its source, beyond the historic city of Le Puy-en-Velay. Drive the famous Gorges de l’Ardeche for 20 miles to the natural limestone arch over the river, the Pont d’Arche. Ancient France, rural France, quiet France – come and explore.
(We arrive back in the UK on Friday 14th morning, in time for The Goodwood Revival)


THE TWELTH AUTUMN AMBLE
to Swiss Normande and the D-Day Beaches
11th to 18th OCTOBER
Three nights at a Michelin starred restaurant hotel in Bagnoles with Navigation Runs into the beautiful Swiss Normande area and a Saturday dinner in a new Brasserie in Bagnoles. Then north to the coast and the Mercure Omaha beach Hotel for two nights and a chance to explore the D Day beaches.
